Summer Colors Trip
June 2026
June 2026
This year's Summer Colors Trip is on the Green River through the Flaming Gorge, from Flaming Gorge Dam to Indian Crossing. Over the course of three nights and two days on the water, we will navigate the A and B sections, famous for their 800-foot red sandstone walls and crystal-clear Class II rapids.Â
To truly soak in the canyon's beauty, our itinerary includes a full layover day at our second campsite. This break from the oars allows everyone ample time to enjoy the world-class fly fishing the Green is known for, explore the rugged canyon rim trails, or simply relax by the river. We will launch just below the dam and float through the high-walled "A" section before transitioning into the more secluded wilderness of the "B" section, eventually concluding our journey at the Indian Crossing takeout.
